California proves the dangers of complying with gun registration

Governor Gavin Newsom on Thursday, September 23rd, 2021 signed Assembly Bill 173 into law after winning a contentious recall election. The bill, among other provisions, compels the California Department of Justice to provide gun owners private information to the California Firearm Violence Research Center at UC Davis for the purposes of “gun violence research.”
